Divers Atlas with Guest Speaker Christine Tamburri - CPS Event 134

Event Description:

Christine Tamburri, the director of the nonprofit Divers Atlas, is coming to give a talk about their free, online, community run, dive site database. It has information on location, accessibility, maps, amps and even 3D models of some sites. Christine and her team have created this resource to help divers all over the world foster community and improve diver safety. Christine Tamburri will be discussing the nature of their organization and how it is run. In addition to educating divers on this tremendous resource they have available, Divers Atlas offers many volunteer opportunities that could benefit students long term, lead to career opportunities, and make for good resume builders. Christine will be discussing several of the upcoming opportunities they have available.
